Who Is Covered
This Limited Warranty applies to the original purchaser of a new ShutSafe Home Kit purchased directly from AZ Home Watch and Services LLC or an authorized seller in the United States. Proof of purchase may be required.
Warranty Period
The warranty lasts for one year from the date the product is delivered to the original purchaser.
What Is Covered
We warrant that, under normal indoor residential use and when installed and used according to the instructions, the physical product will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship during the warranty period.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover ordinary wear; fading or cosmetic variation that does not impair intended use; handwriting or marking quality; marker staining; incorrect information recorded by a user; loss of information; improper installation; unsuitable mounting surfaces; adhesive or fastener damage to walls or other property; misuse, neglect, accident, abuse, modification, unauthorized repair, extreme heat, moisture, flood, fire, chemicals, outdoor exposure, pests, or acts of nature; third-party services, websites, QR providers, cloud storage, phones, cameras, internet connections, or software; or consequential property damage arising from an emergency, leak, electrical event, utility condition, or failure to locate or operate a home system.
Your Responsibilities
You must inspect the product, follow all installation and use instructions, use mounting hardware appropriate for the surface, keep recorded information accurate and current, and avoid unsafe operation of home systems. The product does not verify that a labeled location or instruction is correct.
Warranty Remedy
If a covered defect is confirmed during the warranty period, our obligation, at our option, is to repair the product, replace it with the same or a reasonably equivalent product, or refund the original purchase price. This is the exclusive remedy to the extent permitted by law.
How to Make a Claim
Email contact@shutsafehomekit.com with the order number, purchaser name, description of the problem, and clear photographs. Do not return the product until instructed. We may request the product be returned for inspection and will provide instructions if required.
No Other Warranties
Except for this written warranty and warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. If applicable law does not allow an implied warranty to be disclaimed, it is limited to the duration of this express warranty to the extent permitted.
Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible under this warranty for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including property damage, water damage, electrical damage, lost data, emergency-service costs, professional-service costs, or loss of use. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
